About Corepath

At CorePath Counseling & Consulting, therapy is about more than coping.

It’s about understanding the deeper patterns shaping how you think, feel, and respond to life.

Many of the clients I work with are capable, thoughtful individuals who are used to holding everything together — yet feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck internally.

Through a structured, compassionate approach, we slow things down, build emotional awareness, and create lasting shifts in how you relate to yourself and others.

My work integrates several evidence-based approaches:

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Understanding the different parts of yourself that shape thoughts, emotions, and behavior.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Learning to move toward your values rather than being controlled by difficult thoughts.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Developing tools for emotional regulation and distress tolerance.

Nervous System Regulation
Helping your body shift out of chronic stress and back into balance.

Hi, I'm Amber

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by both professional training and lived experiences.

As a licensed social worker, healthcare leader, wife, and mother, I’ve seen how powerful it can be to truly understand ourselves — our emotions, our patterns, and the ways we move through the world.

These experiences deepened my belief that real change begins with awareness and compassionate curiosity.

Today, I work with clients who want to slow down, explore their inner world, and develop the insight that creates meaningful change.

What is it like to work together?

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative and reflective.

Sessions provide a safe space to slow down and explore what you're experiencing without judgement. Together we look at the deeper patterns shaping your emotions, relationships and decisions.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, our work centers on building self-awareness, emotional clarity and lasting change.

Many clients describe therapy as one of the few spaces where they can speak honestly, reflect deeply and feel fully understood.

What change can look like

Over time, many clients begin to experience meaningful shifts:

• greater emotional balance
• less overthinking and self-criticism
• healthier relationship patterns
• increased confidence in decisions
• a stronger connection to themselves

Therapy isn’t about becoming someone different.

It’s about understanding yourself deeply enough to move through life with clarity and self-trust.
